Just upload the screenshots to Steam then post the links to them here.
I uploaded them from my in-game PDA but they haven't shown up yet here. I'll post when they do.
It made damage as evidenced by the puffs of yellow. I just imagined it didn't do much.
85%...he couldn't really touch me all that much. There were a few times where he swung around and caught me, but it was only once, maybe twice. And having the thermal upgrade meant I could hold on indefinitely. Or at least as long as my finger held down the RMB controlling the grappling hook..
On the other hand... the damn thing is an apex preditor that swims in lava so your little drill acttng like a massager is probably about right.
Heh... it'd be hillarious if it'd roll over on it's belly like a giant puppy if you scratch it for a while.
As for Sea Dragon, well... his/her hitbox is much worse - Head to torso again, but I think you have to be dangerously close to its face in order to actually get it to bleed.
I am about to go back down there in my cyclops and see if I can load up a ton of crashfish and acid mushrooms... The Acid shrooms (white variety) will be planted in the lava zone section near to the antechamber of the Inactive lava zone where the Lava castle is. I don't think 40+ crashfish is going to kill the sea dragon (as I mentioned in my guide), but I am wondering if having about 40+ acid shrooms in addition to that might do the trick.
The greatest difficulty in fighting the Sea Dragon is that it generally doesn't want to get near you, and prefers to fight at range - contrasted by the Reaper who is always itching for a fight.
Stasis, knife 25 times, repeat until low on oxygen, stasis, go for oxygen, stasis, knife 25 times, etc.
I've lost count on how many knife swings it takes, but it was definitely less than 300. Carry an extra knife, or use an infinite one.
I don't get it.
