How do you safely travel through the Active Lava Zone?
I want to explore it, but it's way to hot to be able to get anywhere in my PRAWN. What can I do to make this possible (survival game)

there are places you can land your prawn and walk around on down there, but most of it is a lake and rivers of lava. your best bet is to take your cyclops down there and make sure to position it correctly, it will minimize the potential of making mistakes that will see your prawn getting destroyed quickly by the lava and the leviathan screaming away and throwing fireballs at you.

So be sure to take your jump jet upgrade for the prawn to make sure you can jump large gaps and it wouldn't hurt if you have the module for converting heat into energy for the prawn either.

You dont.

Use the cyclops, it currently cannot be damaged. So you can just drive around, be aware that there are energy sucking leeches that attach to the hull and drains the energy.

I use the PRAWN in the ILZ/ALZall the time. I equip the Jump Jet upgrade, Hull Upgrade, Grapple Arm, Propulsion Arm, Locker, Heat Generator (to keep power maxed). The Lava Larva (leeches) will eventually find you and latch on so just keep moving.

I try not to land/stand/walk on anything that IS NOT completely black, otherwise damage ensues. And don't even think about repairing your PRAWN if the water temp is 70degrees or above. You'll take damage otherwise. Also there are areas where the upper biome takes affect and the water temp goes below typical Lava Zone temps and the music/lighting changes as well[\spoiler].

No problem, the pictures say more than a thousand words.

Is it even possible to fit the cyclops into an ALZ entrance? I don't think there are entances big enough to let it pass.

Yes, sure?
1x Entrance from Lost River
1x Entrance from Deep Grand Reef

North east Entrance is possible but very difficult

Well, thanks for telling me, so I know how to prepare, and I already learned that the biome glitch occurs. Safe Shallows + ILZ is creepy as hell.

Its merging the spoiler with my reply, GG steam. Just read the spoiler, I don't know how to fix it.

Turn off the Cyclops flood lights and interior lights and move very carefully.

i've managed to fit cyclops into areas that it shouldn't even be able to get into. as long as you don't touch the lava, you can force the cyclops into a gap so long as you can get it in vertically and yes move carefully doing it.

I guess they will probably bring out a future update where you can handle massive heats. Maybe like a precursor suit or whatever. I am currently not playing the game haha. I really want to but waiting for more updates before exploring again.
