Multiple Vehicles
Are we able to have more than one of each vehicle? Today I tried to make a spare PRAWN in case I lose mine during my next trek to the ILZ, and it wouldn't let me. Is that a bug, or is the game limited to one PRAWN, one Seamoth, and one Cyclops?

Experimental or Stable?

You're supposed to be able to make as many as you want but players have reported this problem before - we think it's a bug having to do with the Mobile Vehicle Bay.

First try picking up the MVB and redeploying it. If that doesn't work, try making a brand new MVB and see if you're able to build a second suit from that.

I'm on stable. I like to see new features when they're complete.
At any rate, I'll try the thing with the vehicle bay. Thanks!

There have been games where I've built 2 Seamoths. One kitted-out with general-purpose upgrades for day-to-day use, and one with all the cool armor and weaponry. I don't really do that anymore, since the torpedoes turned out to be almost impossible to land a hit with, and virtually useless even when you do. If Titanium gets scarce enough, I may revisit this to try to chase that Reaper away from the aft of the Aurora so I can get at those vast wreckage fields. Depends on whether or not his leash can be permanently broken by gas torpedoes... and whether or not I end up chasing him into the Shallows in doing so.

I can't really think of a reason to have multiple PRAWNS. I do often put a 2nd Seaglide in my Cyclops, which I use about as often as the original I keep in a locker in my primary moonpool for when I go out - which is to say, never. But I usually find the materials to build one, just in case. Sometimes there is no substitute for speed.

Mostly I want multiple PRAWNS because Rule of Cool. I just think it would be fun to have a mining model assembled, a combat model assembled for driving leviathans off, and maybe an exploration model equipped with high capacity cargo storage. Of course, I COULD just swap out upgrades when necessary, but it's not as much fun to me.
