Eggs not hatching

Its been over 5 days in game and eggs are not hatching in Alien containment. I have 5 stalker eggs in at one base in three stacked ACs and another base with 3 sand sharks eggs. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else have this problem?

How many other fish are in the tank already? There's a max number (per tank) and if you've hit the max eggs won't hatch because there's no more room.

I just have one Stalker with the 5 Stalker eggs and the other base has just the 3 eggs in the AC.

Stable or Experimental?

hmmmmm. I was in experimental which i thought I turned off some time ago. I'll post again if they sstill don't hatch.

Okay as you know things get switched off and on in Experimental as they work on stuff. For example if they're working on the Sea Emperor egg or some other creature's egg that hasn't been implemented yet, all egg hatching may be disabled for the time being.

thats happening to me
it seems to be a rabbit ray egg, but I've only got four other fish and its been 7 in game days and it hasnt hatched yet... why is that?

I have the problem that egen an egg hatched the fish come out but the egg dont break
