How to move a Base and Minions ?

So, I decided that I want to move my base. Im ok with starting over as far as building all the crap or just picking it all up and placing it back down.

But is there no other easy way to move all the minions? Being that you can only have 1 deployed at a time, it will take me 9 trips accross the map lol to get them all.

can have multiple bonfires give them stuff to store from old bonfire

basically yes.

Limit how grand of a migration you are making for now, once you are mostly done with the rainforest it will be significantly easier to do.

well thats just it I kinda wanted to move my base to the edge or highlands to be closer to the metals. But I did read something about portals, so maybe I will try to get to those and than it will be a lot easier

You can make a base up there just don't move all of your people, recruit 2 or 3 guys in that area aad have them smelt and craft for you.

TRIBES PEOPLE WILL NOT GO TO NEW BONEFIRES. they technically can (if you tell them to go work at it (cut trees, mine, craft, manage bonfire, whatever is in the area of your new base) but only to close bonfires. I'm not sure the limit but if your new base spot is more than 350m away then you have NO option but to either bring one at a time using deploy OR you can banish them from your tribe and get new ones around your new base. BUT who's making a new base less than 350m away with the size of the map and I don't want to get rid of my good leveled followers. IM IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME, but me not able to move base locations unless I want to move people one by one or dismiss them permanently.
PLEASE DEVS SOME KIND OF Oregon Trail mode to move everyone, OR the limit on there work range needs A MASSIVE increase to be able to move them

Not the best answer but i just dismissed my old tribesmen and got better barbarians instead.

I agree , an Oregon trail type would be cool. I went to a barracks and dettered a few barbarians, came back after feeding them to get them to come back to camp, nah they just stood there. Atleast let them “recall” to bonfire, and if they die in the process then so be it. But atleast let me group walk back 😝 LOVE THIS GAME

You can ride a mount, and still have 1 tribesman follow you as well. Tribesman will auto-teleport to follow you if you outdistance them, while riding on the mount.

So just go full speed ahead until you reach the new location, and your NPC will just pop in next to you when you get there. "End deployment" on the tribesman, and they will stay there. Then repeat.

Yea, when I move to a more permanent location... I just recruit new slaves and dismiss the old ones when I tear my old base down.

I try not to put too much effort into the starter area.

Would be nice if we could give them something to knock them out and then carry them through the portal and place in a bed to recover.

Retrieve the bonfire you are planing to move, place it NOT more then 100 meters away from he original position, the tribes people that are sitting or allocated to that bonfire will run to the newly placed one, rinse and repeat.
