A little update, boy time is flying! 😮‍💨

I’m super excited for Allogloom to be a part of the Frosty Games Fest over the next few days (June 8th to the 22nd) ❄️There are heaps of neat games from Aussie and NZ to see in this festival, look out for it in the Steam Summer Games Fest!

In other news I have given the steam page graphics a little refresh and most importantly much progress has been made in these last few months, here are some sneak peaks below.

Progress Update

Hello!

A progress update about what I have been working on this year so far!

Chapter 3 is all done, I have almost finished polishing off chapter 4 and will be onto chapter 5 this month! (out of the 8 chapters Allogloom has.)

Polish has involved tweaking some of the puzzles by fleshing them out, adding some more “oomph” to some of the scenes to make them more visually interesting. Fixing some of the animations that were a bit too janky. Also resizing assets, fixing typos, all that fun stuff!

I have also planned out the new intro to the game which will help to set the scene and introduce Gruesome Grove properly. I have started working on this alongside finishing off the rest of the chapters.

Major Fran Bow vibes

I’m stoked about this game, It’s got serious Fran Bow vibes, which is awesome. Fran Bow came out a decade ago and surely inspired a lot of devs, artists and writers. I wonder if this dev team has talked about it being an inspiration and/or has worked with the couple who made Fran Bow. I hope a release date is announced soon....
