This thread will be used to list all fixes and updates we make to CONSORTIUM along the way.

V 1.002

To gain access to this and all future versions that are part of the "CONSORTIUM 1.1 Beta", right-click on CONSORTIUM, Properties, then click the "Betas" tab. Click the drop down and select "beta - Consortium 1.1 Beta".

Remember, if you choose to be part of this, each subsequent update may invalidate any on-going save games that you have. However, games that you COMPLETED will always be usable for importing into CONSORTIUM 2.

CRASHES

THANK-YOU to everyone that took the time to send us crash .mdmp files (more on that in a second...) and filing bug reports into the bug report thread. We are very grateful and the information has helped us find and fix problems immensely!

We do have one huge request. We want to kill ALL the crash bugs immediately. To that end, if you experience a crash, please consider sending us the minidump file that is generated, which can significantly aid us in tracking it down and fixing it quickly.

To access the minidump files within the Steam directory - go here:

\steam\steamapps\common\Consortium

The files we want are anything with “.mdmp” .

Please send your .mdmp files directly to - ryan@interdimensionalgames.com - along with as much detail as you can give us on exactly what was happening when the crash occurred.

BUG FIXES TODAY THAT EVERYONE HAS RIGHT NOW

- Removed lighting editor key command (which was causing the lighting editor to come up when trying to take a screenshot on the steam version)
- Fixed crash related to removing welders from the pawns hands
- Fixed crash related to unbound keyboard keys being sent to the flash UI
- Fixed crash around king conversation ( chair related )
- Game end will now write a “game finished” save file which will be usable to restore progress in CONSORTIUM 2.

V1.23

MAJOR FIXES
  • Fixed rare but serious immersion issue with pawn 11 getting stuck in the back of the ship IF the player startled her in the brig earlier but then immediately walked away.
  • Fixes non-progression that would occur if players walked away from K15 just before she brings down the holo-emitter to display the Consortium Queen
  • Civilian Defence training: Fixed civilians getting stuck on the upper bunker
  • Added extra script to make sure Pawn 19 will resume her rounds after talking with wade in the cockpit - she can no longer get stuck in the cockpit doorway (for real, this time!)
  • The traitor's inventory can now be accessed if traitor is incapacitated
  • If you use "continue..." to resume a game, auto-saves and quick-saves will now save into the proper universe

MINOR FIXES
  • When "surrendering" to the merc in the Hangar Bay, the merc will now react appropriately if the player physically drops their weapon instead of holstering it
  • Disabled turbulence during second dream sequence
  • Made R25 stay in mission ops after she opens the weapons locker, preventing her from getting stuck in cockpit door.
  • When pawn 62/51 get back into their global ops chairs after the chess game or if the game doesn't happen, the screens will now turn on properly when the pawns start working.
  • Lounge door will now close soon after Pawn 32 walks through it on her way to upper avionics

GAME CHANGES / IMPROVEMENTS
  • A permanent player Career Record note will now be made if all 20 civilians are still alive by the end of the final level of Civilian Defence training.
  • Virtual Civilians hit-points raised
  • Civilian Defence scoring change: Playing on Medium and Hard difficulty levels now add a significant boost to the score for each level completed. (+750 and +2500 respectively)
  • Knight 15 voice over change: when confronting the merc in the "surrender" thread, K15 will now explicitly tell the player to holster their weapon
  • Rook 25 voice over change: If player has a very low alignment with R25 (-15 or lower) and lies down on the Bishop's bed to take a nap, she will now make it clear that she's not interested in the player's opinion on who the murderer is
  • iDGi-1 Static FX can now be toggled OFF via the developer console: r_signal_fx 0
  • Updated the credits

V1.24

FIXES
  • Additional fix made to prevent R25 from blocking the cockpit entrance before the mercenary fight.
  • More definitively prevented players from entering K15's cabin during the traitor fight.
  • Fix for players getting stuck in the cockpit door if trying to follow Pawn 51 into the cockpit
  • Fix made to prevent extremely rare chance of Zenlil being destroyed by Kiril's forces at the wrong time.
  • Fix made for extreme iDGi-1 signal issue that sometimes arose during the traitor fight - should not happen anymore, but if it does, using the utility energy stations will reset the signal back to normal.

FIXES
  • Fixed various graphical glitches that were happening in various places due to recent Nvidia drivers breaking things :-(
  • No longer possible for traitor to get into K15’s office.
  • Added text with link on front-end for latest news - for The Tower campaign
  • shortened abandon distance for the “do you want to talk to the queen?” convo
  • Zenlil Minigame: tweaked difficulty and removed iDGi-1 static FX

V1.26 - 2019 REBALANCE

UPDATES
  • Organ damage and healing dramatically changed to be far less punishing
  • Sped up PCU incapacitation nanites
  • Shield strengths and recharge rates changed
  • All enemy armor and shield balancing completely changed
  • Zenlil defense mini-game rebalanced
  • Traitor fight completely rebalanced
  • Updated Kinetic Assault Rifle firing sound

FIXES
  • Deleted trigger that was causing Wade to actually die in lower avionics - most noticeable on easy difficulty level where player is not in much danger.

V1.26.1 - 2019 REBALANCE

UPDATES
  • New / Updated ending message from Vidal
  • Retuned/tweaked/fixed all changes from 1.26
  • Civilian Defense - Protective civilian bunker now spawns in much earlier.
  • Virtual Trainer tutorial - healing nanite tutorial now only requires that you start healing, not finish it.
  • Basic bullet damage significantly buffed
  • Saving Wade is less punishing now
  • Changed up gear in mission ops Emergency Weapons Locker
