Where is my CD Key???

I purchased this game in May, from steam. I've been playing multiplayer on many servers the past couple months, ALL OF A SUDDEN i need my CD KEY AUTHORIZED....Steam doesnt seem to provide my CD KEY???

??? I need my CD Key !!! How do i get it ???

Right click on the game in your library. The box that pops up should have a "view cd key" option after "play game" but I don't own UO on steam so I can't tell you if you need to right click on the regular launcher or the multiplayer one.

COD UO does not have that option when you right click on either one. Cant find my CD KEY anywhere and why all of a sudden i need it? Dont know but this is angering me cuz this is the only game i play daily. and now its the only game i cant play. I have already tried reinstalling both COD and COD:UO and it doesnt work!!! STEAM needs to send me my CD KEY!!! This is BS! Ive spent so much on here for it to not work now. was working now isnt!

Ah, well if it doesn't have the option then you'll have to contact steam support directly and that may take a while.

There is a solution to get a cd key of any installed game via registry. it looks a bit tricky but it isn't, just make sure you don't change any value.
Press windows button + R key or press start and type "run", you'll get the same windows. Then in the little pop-up window type "regedit". A new window should opet - that is the registry.

Depending on your system type, if it is x86 you should navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Activision\Call of Duty United Offensive

or if you are using x64 system:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Activision\Call of Duty United Offensive

There is a screenshot of my registry and how you should see it Screenshot[postimg.org]

You will see a value named “key”, double click it and there is your cd key. Copy it or write it down and type it into the game. Please don't alter anything from the register or you could mess up things. I hope it helps, cheers.

İt doesn't work on my pc. There is no key or something. Do you know another solution?
