It's working now, the problem was with my DirectX

What are your PC specs? Does it crash if you leave it?

Same problem here. It hasn't launched since I bought it over a year ago. Steam says running then it exits before any screen ever even comes up. I tried adjusting display settings directly from the config exe as mentioned in another thread but that didn't help at all. Also tried reinstalling directX included and reinstalling the game entirely as well to no avail. This has been a problem on both 8.1 pro and 10 pro for me.

AMD FX-9590 8-core 4.7ghz
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z 990FX
16gb AMD Radeon Gamer Series DDR3 2133
Asus Strix R9 390 8gb
Asus Xonar DX2 PCI-E Audio
OCZ Trion 150 480gb SSD: Windows 10 Pro/ Backbox Linux
Sandisk Ultra II 960gb SSD: Game library only
Western Digital Black 5tb HDD: Storage

can you confirm if you have a crash report, and can you let me know if restarting steam helps?
