If you are new to city builder's, then I highly recommend this game. If you are a veteran, that is where I no longer recommend it.

This game has everything needed to introduce a new player to the genre. It's user friendly, simple to understand, and gives you the time and freedom to learn what your role is in this genre of video games without needing to worry about the micro management that typically comes with this style of game.

And it's lack of micromanagement is where the game falls a part for veterans. If you've played any sort of city builder before, this is a cake walk. There are some minor consequences but nothing super major and you can access all the resources you need from wherever you are so there's no need or desire to expend other than to just place more buildings.

I wish the game had a little more too it. Mostly a reason to expand and grow.

In most city builders, the challenge of the game comes from needing to expand to other resources but then also needing to be able to support your expansion. So expanding usually gets you new stuff but strains other areas. so then in your process to balance it back out, you need more things that you have to expand to new areas to get. And it becomes a balancing game. But that doesn't happen here.

You can just build anything wherever and not really have to worry about much it felt like.
