2. Change settings to improve steering, like any other game.
3. They will add more music. It is from the old games in the series.
4. This is it for races, its always been this way.
5. They may add some later.
6. They are working on Honda license.
7. Mitsubishi is in game, you have to unlock them
8. The game is a grind.
most baffling decision for any game to hard cap the money system ..
With maxed out long run perk, you can earn around four million an hour (around two million from the perk and the rest farming rivals like white leopard + win streak upgrades) literal traffic cars give two to five times as much CP as team rivals did in the old games.
edit
Wallet is literally 1 bp upgrades, or you can buy cars. You're not 'hard locked' out of money unless you have max wallet, a full garage and 15mil CP.
but it is.. the Final upgrade to the wallet is 15m... like what? come on... dumbest thing ever...
I got the option to buy cars that are currently 9M yet my wallet is hard lock to 4.5m max and I can't "upgrade" it till I beat so and so....
so whats the point have having cars to buy unlocked before the game even gonna remotely let you hold the cash required to by it in the first place...
And users not just going to buy every car just because... Most people that play these type of games perfer to hold on to there winnings.... until there is a Car worth actually spending the money on and having the extra money for all the available upgrades right out the gate
I agree that the boss car unlocks should at least be better tied to wallet progression, but the rest is naff.
You can buy cars with your money, you're choosing not to. There is a viable solution to having a full wallet until you have maxed out your entire garage upgrade tree. You're not using it. Not using it because it's 'stupid' doesn't make it no less a viable avenue for you.
I'm personally torn on wallet progression. I get the angle of trying to promote buying cars and upgrades, but it's also contentious and not well implemented with the unlocks not being properly tied to the rivals you beat.
Genki will probably rebalance it significantly.
15m will handily max upgrade literally every car in the game.
butt will it let me max out.. lets say... hmmmm 10 cars at the same time....
no because I already have like 6 cars unlocked that are 9 mill or more,, with the hard cap at 15mill I can't even buy 2 base models at the same time ...
15 mill cap will let u basically by 1 Base 10m car, and possible all the upgrades before the users required to go back on the road and re-grind 15 mill all over again.. at that point the Players probably already beat the game or close to it...
The devs at the part is just adding the unnecessary grind to extend the games overall gameplay in a SP only game... no body wants to do that. and its complete disrespect of the players time.. If a "game" can not respect my time why should I give it any of mine.
Thats not to say the game is terrible, I love it.. Way to easy soo far but its been scratching that inch since DreamCast TXR2.. I just wish this title was more like the first 2 ....Simple straight up racing with out any of the extra fluff
This is ridiculous. This isn't car mechanic simulator where you max out 6 cars at a time with your trillion dollars to stare at them. You're meant to buy and experiment and spent money and time tuning your cars.
I understand wallet frustration but the scenarios you're painting are just antithesis to the gameplay itself entirely
nope nope..... As some one that Beat Both TXR1 & 2 on the dream cast.. Hording every bit of money was a requirement...
You made sure u didn;t waste it and only bought the cars u need during the first playthrough... Getting Hung upon a Boss on TXR2 and not having the cash on had to buy a new car/part because you foolishly spent it caused the Player to restart the ENITER game over again.....
Once you beat the game the first time.. You had all this extra money to go back and buy all the other cars u wanted to try but weren't willing to risk it ... Every racing game I ever play , Grand Trismo, TXR1/2, Forza, NFS ect always hord the cash , only buy what u need and once u beat the game then splurge...
U know how painfull it was to make money in TRX1/2 .. once u beat the rival ,,, replaying that same rival gave u next to nothing in cash.. u could easily have spend 10+ hours just trying to remake back a bad purchase (esspically if u had auto save enabled) .. especially late game... It was way easier to & in some case quicker to just restart over (its that Time = money argument) were time is money.. The more time you "have to spend" on a game .. The more time your wasting ...
