LEVEL 2 KEYCARD
I BEEN SEARCHING FOR HOURS AND I CANT FIND THE LEVEL 2 KEYCARD CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLZZ sorry for the caps

You have to attack the dead bodys you see.

The level 2 keycard upgrade terminal is inside the captain's room in the barracks. To get past the face scanner, you need to destroy the body of the captain in the top floor of the Pioneer Station, take his head and hold it up to the scanner.

well i didnt even do thyat i just eventually got tyhe fabulous lens and busted my way through the blocks

got smashed when i found the mech after deleting the door. died 3 times to the blighter, oh well.

all this time it was right there in front of me. i interacted with the captains body but didn't think to attack it. been searching even for his eyes lol

Honestly this is less of a you problem and more of an us problem. We need to have some kind of hinting that you need to destroy the body to get the head. It's a funny surprise, but it's not really very intuitive for something that is pretty critical to progression through the game.

yeah if i didn't happen upon this post today, i'm not sure i'd of figured it out. :reexcited: having a blast regardless.

Maybe when you come across the body, and/or the retina scanner, have the AI companion hint at how to proceed.

As an alternative, what about using the hacking tool obtained to open the lab door?
