I can think of 2 boss type enemies right now, one being the final boss but even those get recycled.
Then there's super unique bosses which are very difficult and have unique fighting styles. It sounds small but it's really not an issue imo as the game ramps up the difficulty and throws in tons of enemies later in the game, making most encounters difficult and unique.
The variety of it is that the monsters may be the same but their visual change in colors, design pattern, details, replacement of limps, etc. They also get new movesets, the more you play the more you unlock new attack patterns of them, there is also the ultimate transformation for a few but yeah, this game will be you beating the same 5 creatures over and over again.
I HATE when games does that, recycled enemies/boss/maps, the only thing that keep me going was the gameplay which is fun when you manage to do it flawless (I love parry system games), music which is wonderful and the lore, that keep me curious to keep going, it have its up and downs but yeah thats the game.
