Mixed review after finishing the game. Enough dislikes to outweigh the likes.

TL;DR: it's a good action game with some good artistic direction, but overstayed its welcome by repeatedly reusing content without introducing gameplay variety. Also, the inconsistency in voice acting broke immersion.

Likes:
- unique action mechanisms
- unique time travelling story

Dislikes:
- inconsistency in voice acting -- most of the game's dialogue has no proper voiceover (already a bit weird given how much they've invested in the visuals); the occasional English-only voice acting in certain cutscenes only created inconsistency and broke immersion.
- a lot of story elements are left unexplained/under-explored and the ending left things unresolved (I felt the story was building up to a resolution, not the lack of which). One seemingly major story arc also ended up having little impact to the main story.
- there were only a few maps and they were heavily reused throughout the game
- there is very little variety in gameplay (with respect to the length of the game) -- not much enemy variety or mission variety
- hunting for collectibles was unnecessarily tedious (good luck finding 3 small dots in a huge map)

i think my purchase alone earned them back the entire budget
