God I miss this game.

I was in 8th grade when this came out, and after playing Minecraft for literally THOUSANDS of hours, this game scratched every itch possible. Making a detailed character was EASY. Making an awesome map to 1v1 your friends on was FUN and once again EASY.
I remember my father, who is now 52, was even able to pick this up, make his own character and he even made a couple solid maps.... I just really wish this game still had a community, or the devs made a sequel (i have no idea what the state of this studio is in so probably wishful thinking) or somebody else made a new game similar to this. GOATED

Not to repeat a meme around here. Blame indiegala for more than half of the problems now, this game could have been bigger, but they slaughtered the forums in 2016 and also 2016 was kind of the last update. Which upsets me to the core as this game back in 2015 and 2016 helped me get through hard times.

Man... This was such a fun game when it had people actively playing it.
Even though I've spent most of the time doing level editor stuff, I have such good memories playing with random strangers and friends.

I drop in every now and then. If indiegala had a mind to they could easily develop this further. Put in AI bots so people could always have a game to play. If they did that "Super BlockStorm" They'd clean up.

I think even just dropping a single big update and pushing even a little bit of marketing would revive the game. I’m not asking for 10s of thousands of players to come back even just a couple hundred would be nice :(

I'm sure theres a small window everyday where you can find one lobby with a few people in it, but yeah its basically completely dead.

Kinda curious. This Forum is full of positive praise. From me also; I really loved this game despite not beeing into FPS shooter.

Wondering how this game "died" if so many people still come here regularly to share how much they miss it.

I feel like it just needs a spark to get the player back and playing. Blockstorm is such a great and fun game

I believe firmly it's because they didn't add bots. So that players could still have a game if nobody was hanging out. So people just wrote it off.
