I agree.

It really does need that and a mod tool to make and add your own cloths and items. My issue is there some free stuff on there main website but no way on getting it as you cant make a account on the site

Why worry about that ? Once steam open its workshop here, you can subscribe and download the free stuff you want here. Steam might also do some modification to the software in order to see what we download.
Also I noticed that is a subforum for Trading. We might not have a steam workshop instead, we might get an inventory for this software. An inventory where people can store bought items and use them for their comics!

This would be a really good motivation to make people buy this soft.....but this people ain't the same from the RPG maker, is another one. and is a Japanese company, they are really hard to convince into this new step. they are really closed mind especially with foreigners, is just a miracle they released this into English, and they don't like the change. They don't like the expansion. even though is a win - win for everyone, they wouldn't do it. For pride. Because steamworkshop is a western idea.

If someone convince them to allow a worshop here, that person is my hero.

I agree with everything everyone has said. I would love to see Steam Workshop open up for this program. It would make this software 1000x better!

If anyone knows how to get a product key from steam, I would love you! Because, I really want the free stuff they offer on their website, but as stated above, that can't happen without logging in, and to set up an account you must have a product key.

these 9 free bonus packages stuff should be already in Steam version, but premium content isn`t supported

that would be so awesome and I'm positive we'll get it :)

it looks like .obj and.mtl files so sharing wont be hard. So a basic file exchane would almost be enough, not even as complicated as other steam workshops.

Hey, this is something we would love to implement and we are already talking to the developers about it. Hang tight!

So I got a reply email from an inquiry regarding the DLC. I was told that nearly all the free dlc they have on their site was implemented into the Steam version of ComiPo! already (so we're not missing out there) and they also said the in the next few weeks we should see the Premium DLC from their site be available for download on Steam. So, hang tight I suppose! :D

Yeah, we'll be integrating the rest of the bonus material into the Steam version, and then we'll also be selling the DLC on Steam as well. If you already purchased the DLC off Steam, you may be having trouble integrating it or may want it on Steam itself, so we'll be sure to set you up with a free replacement key in that case.

This would go a long way to convince me to buy this.

Edit: Make Steam cards for further add value and you've got a sale!

Great to hear mitchell! Im considering buying this roduct or the next version? Because steam workshop would be very helpful for me, I like to write stories and I do backgrounds, but cant draw characters well, and if someone else liked my story but wanted to make the character it would be nice having steam workshop to import that character with different expressions I could drag and drop so to speak. Right now I do this via email but since this is a 3d program it would give the artist more flexibility in their creation and me in utilizing them to create the story.

(On my profile is a short story under one of my reviews. I notice manga maker has no older characters I would like to see some older characters to be able to make that story in manga maker :D)
