completing all achievements gives you around 1500 XPs.
= 10775 XPs (for gun that costs 20000 XPs is not that much)
The game said something about getting more XPs, but i don't see it.
There are few things to gain some additional XPs:
1. Re-Doing the achievements gives you only 10% of their value, making further progres quite slow.
2. You can play quiz. Picture of a gun and 6 choices to choose from. 30 second time limit, the more good answers the better for you. When the limit exceeds you will get 300 XPs for every correct answer, but 1 mistake and you will get nothing. (perhaps a special bonus when you answer 10 times correctly?)
3. Add WoG steam group + have 5 friends playing WoG will give you 20 000 XPs. Perhaps there are more of these SpecOps missions, but i do not know, i haven't completed the first one yet.
3. When you return to the game next day, you will receive some XPs. Not sure about the exact sum, around some hundred for Day 1 to seven thousands for Day 7. Does it work in the future for next days? I don't know that.
By using real money:
1. Of course there is a possibility to buy XPs for real money, but i personally don't like this option. I am against microtransactions and this feels like it pretty much. Cutting corners to be honest.
2. You can buy DLC, that unlocks 12 guns (starter pack) / all guns (life-time access). I'm thinking about the starter pack, but i wouldn't buy the life-time dlc, because it would unlock all the guns and where's the fun in that? In my personal opinion it would have ruined the fun and the progress.
Don't get me wrong, i like this game, more like simulator, but i can imagine the progress being pretty slow in the furute. Heck even now i'm getting stuck at 9th gun.
I apologize for my english, it is not my native language. I hope i helped a little. Definitely try the tutorial to get the picture how all the dis/assembly works.
PS: There are few things that make you restart the whole dis/assembly. They are not bugs, more like programmer's intention.
SIG552: You cannot remove the "fore-sight mount" until you remove the "front sight". Some other guns have it the other way. Little silly by my opinion.
SIG550: There are lots of small things here, but the worst is that you cannot remove the butt stock untill you remove the scope. That and few more don't make sense to me.
All guns: Magazine goes out first. Even if it doesn't have to do with anything like scope removing, screw unscrewing, sights... (But i'm ok with this one, safety first, and it's easier to manipulate the gun w/o the mag).
And parts that cannot be removed until the superpart is disassemled. The "magazine catcher" in "lower receiver". You have to remove the lower receiver to be able to remove the mag catcher. But that i guess would be a little difficult to program, the animation, the final destination in 3D not to overlap with other parts...
Back to your question, it's not hard to unlock most of the guns, except the ones that requires credits. Two options, you get credits by achieving champion challenge (1 credit for 1 gun), or u pay for credits by real money. Or the third you buy the life-time access dlc.
