PS: Zoom in and out are done with the W and S key, can't recall if there are keys for up and down panning though.
W and S are used to move the camera, rather than control the zoom. As I said in the OP, doing so shifts the camera's "focus" so it no longer rotates around the focused part, but rather a point in space significantly away from it. Zooming the camera in and out via the mouse does not change the camera's focus, by contrast.
Up and Down keys do exist - Q and E. The problem is that they're very inconvenient for me to use. I prefer to use FPS controls, which for me means Space to go up and F to go down (what I use for Jump and Crouch, respectively). If that were the case, I could ignore focus altogether and simply use a free camera, but that would require letting me rebind those keys.
So that would be a "no," then? Fair enough, I suppose. Is there a file I can tweak somewhere in the game to change the keybinds, or are they hard-coded in the game logic? In either case, thank you for the official response.
Probably. I'm honestly not TOO interested in the competitive "game" aspect of World of Guns, though. I just like toying around with disassembling and assembling them without pressure - it's why I ended up getting the Full Access pack. Personally, I prefer to avoid using focus altogether, but without the ability to remap Up and Down that's going to be awkward.
