They also greatly expanded the map to cover the whole province and beyond.
But we likely won't see an official one.
A remaster is when they update graphics, and hopefully fix some bugs.
Morrowind would require a complete remake as it would require voice acting (it has very little), a complete rework of all animations, lots of bug fixes and a complete rework of all the combat systems (As much as I love it it as is it would be very niche and most wouldn't like that combat system)
At that point it would require as much work to create a game from scratch.
Far as we know, Fallout 3 is probably next in line for a remaster. Not Morrowind. Same game engine as Oblivion so once they're ironed out the problems here, it should be pretty smooth to do Fallout 3.
i want skyrim to be remastered YET AGAIN onto this game engine
Oblivion is in the sweet spot you can upgrade the grapich and the levling system and it works, they should change the level scaling to more like Skyrim and more quility of life stuff.
Morrowind you keep the caracters and quests and remake everything else.
I say it would be an great idea, Questionable if it would make economical sense.
It was an issue for people who did not have any ranged options.
Morrowind made you a bit overpowered, but jumping towards VIvec and overshoot was fun, the city not the guy.
Disapointed they did not have them in ESO.
