Soft Lock at the end of the game [spoilers]

Got to the end final cutscene plays, and now I'm unable to move my camera or bring up the menu, game is still running, music playing, time passing etc, just locked looking up at the sky forever. only option was to Alt + f4.

Granted I was completely done with all storylines at this point and whenever I play again it will probably be a new save in a few months when there's more modding options available. But I was wondering if there's any way to prevent this?

Specific details:
Rush to the temple after the battle starts (as usual),
wait 24 hours until Sean Bean shows up (as usual),
final battle starts (as usual),
Ocato runs up and force greets me asking where Martin is while he's currently fighting Dagon behind him (the only thing I've never seen happen before and I suspect the cause of the issue).

i just ran into this as well. it seems like ocato interrupting before martin's final dialogue is the problem.
