Have the devs ran off? Patches?

Has there been any feedback from the developers who created this remaster about any upcoming patches? Discussions with players who've bought it? There's performance issues, people have reported bugs and yet silence.

They were real happy to hit 4 million players, they had to announce it. Then they went quiet and must be in grind mode with the 5 million crash reports.

One more person referring to the bugs and broken gameplay as nostalgia, and imma lose my ♥♥♥♥. Don't even get me started on the unholy mix of an 20 year old gamebryo engine and Unreal5.

The Xbox version got some patches. Don't know when the Steam version will get any.

And patch delayed another week, again. You must really not want any patches for this game then since it keeps getting asked every couple hours.

I still suspect that Bethesda did not anticipate such success and purchased sufficient development time and support from the studio after release for further support, patching, updates. And Bethesda's communication still leaves a lot to be desired.

good it needs to keep getting asked and posted about. this BS crashing should have been fixed a already. the issue with the crashing is the more hrs you build up in the game the worse this gets.

theres reddit post talking about this. its an issue that needs a patch. crashing isnt peoples systems its the game.

I thought that at first, but the issues arise after playing many hours in the same save. Frequent crashes, infinite loading and sometimes changing the race and gender of your char having the need to keep different save files to reload just in case.. same as back in the 00s. Nowadays there is no excuse for having such issues in a game that already had them in the past, I had higher expectations since the remaster was made by a third-party company, but so far it seems it falls onto the modder's hands to fix Bethesda games, as usual...

The Bethesda business model. When the product is good enough and 4+ million people have already purchased it and have finished it there is no need to spend further money and resources improving it.

Glad I played it on game pass, uninstalled before beating it got tired of crashing, and bugged quest.
