oblivion gate south of anvil

wont close. Did not recieve stone. Gate did not shut. did part of the visual then nothing. I left the tower and back tracked to the portal and left.

did you use console, have mods installed or use duplication glitch? those 3 things made a mess out my my last 3 playthroughs.
