Umbacano 2nd quest line *spoilers*

playing this for the first time since original release means i have forgotten a lot of the scenarios.
But i just got to the end of the Umbacano quest line, i gave him the fake crown, he died, i have the real crown...i'm sure all those years ago i was then able to sit on the throne with the real crown, incite the incantation Umbacano has just so kindly given to me, and get a greatly improved version of the crown...
I'm now doubting myself, does anyone else remember doing this?
was this an add-on i had put on? if it was they need to make a new version of it as it really does make sence on what should/could happen....

That is a mod. In vanilla, the quest is done once Umbacano dies, either way.

its been awhile, a long long long while, since i remeber that quest but I believe that from what you experience was a mod. As someone says he dies either way, either just falls to the floor and dies or turns to a Lich.

Either way he dead. I think he turns into a Lich, haven't done this quest yet in the remaster
