This really just makes me want Skyblivion even more
I mean dont get me wrong i have been enjoying the remaster. Played the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, even took a day off work when it first dropped just to play it. But. At the end of the day they barely added anything to it. Its very pretty now. I appreciate that. Its still a buggy mess and the scale is still... like.. wonky.

Like a "town" is three buildings and 4 people. C'mon man. It was weird back in 2005 and its still weird now. The walls of the Imperial city are like, off. I dont know how to describe it other than the City should have just been the entire middle island. It just needed to be MUCH bigger than it is.

Basically what im saying is, this game really deserved a full remake, and I'm just glad the community decided to do it with Skyblivion, which looks like its going to give me everything I always wanted Oblivion to actually be.

And it kind of pisses me off that Bethesda has this track record of releasing a game in a mostly playable state with decent quests and features, then just expecting the modding community to make it truly great. Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, all the classics are only really great because the community decided to make it so. They use us as free testers and to insert new quests and features with mods. It just really pisses me off when i think about it. Like, many of the things that get modded into these game should have just been there from the beginning. I'm not even talking about the un-official patches. Stuff like Obscures College of Winterhold for Skyrim? That adds so much to the quest, it all should have been just part of the base game. The normal quest is barebones, modders added what makes it truly great. Same can be said for almost every quest in the game with few exceptions.

Help us Skyblivion.. your our only hope

Well, to give Bethesda their due they have publicly praised the Skyblivion guys. And gave them free keys to this game, which was a cute gesture.
