Missleading unsafe storage at Shivering Isles

Spoilers regarding the shivering isles DLC:

After either becoming duke of mania or dementia, you are able to sleep and visit the bedroom of the faction house without it being considered trespassing. I read somewhere that it was a player home and it makes perfect sense, but very sadly the storage isn't safe. I stored a lot of uniques and they all went missing shortly after. There is a safe storage behind the inn at crisol: an urn hidden on a broken crate.

There is a side quest where you have to assist one of the citizens committing suicide. His house has two containers on the top floor that are the only save containers to store your loot in SI.

Thank you. I'll do a new character since I lost all my uniques and then I'll get to it. The container I described at the end of my comment hasn't reseted a single time same as the ones you describe.
