Chancellor Ocato kills Jauffre and Baurus

I managed to have Baurus and Jauffre alive at the end of the game, but after the end credits, Chancellor Ocato attacks them. The two B and J are non essential, so he kills them and acts as if nothing happened. I understand they must have hit a friendly NPC or Ocato himself. Is there any way of preventing this death so that they remain alive in the game?

Would be nice to visit them at Cloud Ruler Temple in the end game.

You may be able to skip that part of the quest entirely by using the hidden door to the final stage of the final quest inside the Temple of the One (same exact bug as the original, slightly different execution) This will skip those initial fighting stages and then you just rush to the temple and wait a few hours for Martin to show up. This may work but i don't know if it will cause any issues with the questline, since you're already on that quest hopefully it should resolve as normal but create a backup save before hand just in case.
