Miscarand quest bug

So I entered and cleared the location before the main quest took me there. now the quest wont trigger for me.
I have done all the quests up until that point, and I have the grand stone in my inventory.
I searched online and this is a known bug but I have not been able to find a workaround to it.
I have tried waiting for days yet quest still doesn't trigger.

If you are willing to use console commands, you could use SetStage to advance the quest to the point where you got the stone. Hopefully, you can then give it to Martin to continue on. The quest is MQ12 and the stage is 30.

Will this disable achievements?

Yes. There are mods available to re-enable achievements if needed.
