*Spoilers* Battle For Bruma
Will spoiler tag for those that never played the game before now.

So I remember in the original, Jauffre and Baurus were both non essential for the battle, and could either die or survive. If one or both of them died, there was at least some dialogue from Martin and/or Jauffre; acknowledging the death and their sacrifice , displaying Baurus's Katana in the hall of the blades etc. etc.

I just did that quest on remastered, and both of them died for me (Jauffre's death seemed scripted, as his body was flawlessly and neatly sat up against a pillar with no funny limb placement or awkwardness at all)

Spoke to Martin, both immediately, and when back at CR temple; absolutely no dialogue or acknowledgement that either of them had died. Just wondering if other people had the same, or if I slightly broke the quest. Thought it was a shame and a little immersion breaking for someone as plot central as Jauffre, to die and not even be acknowledged by the NPC he spends the most time with in the story.

Dont get me wrong, I know its all part of the oblivion jank and stuff. Doesnt bother me hugely , mainly interested to know if it played like that for everyone i.e slightly different to original, or if I just got unlucky.

Hope everyone's enjoying the game :)
