"Why is this game so unoptimized???"
People really be posting reviews complaining that their 10 y/o hardware cant run this game.

Ran a test on my old pc in 1080p, 2060 6GB, i7-9700K, 16GB ram, and 2 tb 7200 RPM HDD and got around 50-60 fps openworld; medium preset and performance DLSS.

Edit: For those saying my claims are false, here is a benchmark for both of my PCs.
https://youtu.be/tXqgtziLRYI?si=d0scTDPO_xeH57gG

For reference, the minimum required GPU is a 1070 Ti. The 1070 Ti has 8 GB of vram. The 2060 being tested in the video only has 6GB, and still can reach 60 fps without DLSS. The min requirements states that this configuration would result in 30 fps.

Complain about others with no screenshots or other proofs? Nice

Why do others complain then even on new PC?

It's sad. I truly enjoy the game but performance in open world areas is terrible :( I have an ryzen 7 5700x and rx6600xt.
Cool, explain to use where in the pipeline the optimizations you have in mind fit? Which sections of the render pipe would you say is unoptimized and how would you address this?

Since you know its "So unoptimized", I assume these are questions you can answer.

If not how do you know its "so unoptimized ", or is this just a way of saying it doesn't run as fast on your hardware as you believe it should?

That tends to be the case "so unoptimized ", tends to be PC gamers code for I think it should run faster on my PC.

dude im 6700xt/3800x and its crashing liek every 30 minutes...im 90 hours in it started late late game and doesnt stop
Had performances issue until i turn myy 2K setting into 1080p. It's less beautifull on my screen, but performances suddenly became great.

But that may not work for everyone tho.
It's just easy grab money lazy work remaster, let's be honest.
Shoudn't be worth more than 30$. I saw a lot of people praising the price not being 60/70$, but honestly, given what they did, they shouldn't even sell it.

Yea it's usually 3060 6600 7600 systems having the worst of issues

You'll get a 4090 complaint every now and again but that's to be expected...some people really can't handle even the most mild of stutters and usually those are the people who buy the best gear to thwart it...they're on EVERY UE 5 games forum

Crashing is a separate issue...I know for a fact rivatuner/MSI causes crashes for me...also get the occasional 100% CPU usage bug...this needs to be fixed first imo

my 4080 gets its ass handed to it, high setting, 1440, rtx on low. it needs frame gen, and frame gen is crashing the game for people

Try 1080 instead of 1440, maybe it'll help. But having a 4080 and having to tuned down the resolution really is upsetting.

The game does run like ♥♥♥♥, atleast when trying to play on max settings. The stutter issue in open world is also undeniable. Some users are complaining about performance when their specs are below minimum requirement listed on the store page.

Its completely possible to make a playable experience, you just need to sacrifice for lower graphics settings and use DLSS.

The 4090 (or similar) complaints might be to bad drivers, 572.xx or 576.xx. Im using 566.36 and had like 2 crashes over 40 hours. Of course, it varies as not every system is the same.
Game is 20 years old and a system that can run rdr2 flawlessly (which has much better graphics than this) can barely run this.

It's badly optimized. Like really bad. You can defend it all you want and your system might run it fine, but it's a fact.

So as I said, what your saying is you believe it should run better on your system.

You said you're 90 hours in. I'm curious how many save game files you have currently? I had over a 100, and my game began crashing. I deleted the old saves and now only have around 10-15 at a time, and it has improved the experience. Also, turn auto-saves off and rely on manual saves only.
Another low quality bait. Get a real problem bro.

Because they don't know how to configure their new PC. There is a lot of different variables at play here.
