Spider Deadra
Hello all. For quite a while now, whenever I come across the Spider, she spawns a little one and they do something to me. I turn green and have the shakes and can't fight for a few seconds. I've tried wearing different rings and no luck. I don't know what she's hitting me with. Is she or her little spider paralyzing me?

Yup, the small ones paralyze you. If you want to avoid being paralyzed, you want to focus on the big one and take her down asap.

Alternatively, find a spell tome[en.m.uesp.net] that teaches you Resist Paralysis or choose to become a vampire.
just get up and kill them, whats the problem

The small one can paralyse you. You can shortcut cure paralysis but you still has animation of getting up. So the best way is to just use resist paralysis. Or kill the small one quickly they are squishy.
I will make another point, because this may help with certain crashes and errors. When you are in an area where you are likely to encounter spider daedra, I would suggest that you switch to 3rd person if you are playing in first person view. Otherwise, the game tends to have problems with shifting perspectives due to the paralysis, and you may end up with a bug that makes you view things from a greater height than you should (and it limits your going through doors, sometimes).
Resist paralysis potions. Make a few and your golden.

I tend to hit the small ones with a power attack the moment they spawn. You can walk backwards once they start to move close and cast it since the spell is a touch based one and it can miss if you do that. the big one will still usually summon a new one though after some 10 secs
