Mouse/controller selection off center at times?

Has anyone else encountered this bug? Sometimes after playing for a while, the mouse is wayyyy off when on a menu. Same with the controller.

With the mouse, the cursor on the screen is very off as if it is in a completely different direction. Usually with the cursor shown being much farther south on the screen and the actual hit area being much further north.

When this happens, the controller is very wonky and will move around very sporadic after making a selection too. Such as when making a purchase or selling something at a vendor that is far down the list, the cursor jumps all the way to the top. I've accidentally sold some items because of this happening when trying to sell a bunch of junk I don't want.

The worst thing about this is trying to quit the game since the mouse cursor will not let you move far enough downwards to click the quit button and trying to use the controller won't let you move downward to the quit button to quit either.

It used to only happen after playing for a while but today it happened almost immediately when loading a save. It usually fixes itself temporarily when I close and reopen the game. I'm using an Xbox Series X controller, wired via USB type C, just for comparison to others.

Anyone else experience this?

I had this happen to me tonight. had to change my window mode from fullscreen to borderless and the mouse/controller worked normal again.
