Temp solution to fix performance issue
Turn the Effects option down to low. It seems to have bigger performance impact than it should've been.

Plenty of vids showing each setting and how much it effected their setup. If you're at Ultra settings and drop say shadows to High that's about the same as dropping effects to Low. At least for me with an I5 13600kf+RTX 4080. I've no idea how it'll effect other rigs.

So not a fix except maybe on specific hardware. And if that works for you then perfect. Everyone needs to find what works best for them. Me that's 2560x1440 ultra and DLSS Balanced to save some juice but Quality runs fine. Vsync has horrible latency so capped at 66 to lower screen tearing of 60hz TV. And no useless mod to tweak Unreal Engine. Again for my rig.

Yeah, although I did used ultimate engine tweaks. But for some odd reasons the Effect Quality was more demanding on the hardware than lumen hardware raytracing on ultra quality. But I guess they had either overdone some settings or just guess the setting should be.

I am using R7 5800X RTX 3060. I think the Effects Quality is unoptimized. But it might've been an AMD CPU issue with that particular instances.
