Which is so sad, this game was a huge financial success and a reputation win for Bethesda.
It runs like ass even on consoles, sad.
I am not talking about glitches, I am talking about stutters and frame spikes.
I am 50 hours in and with a 5070Ti + 5800X3D, the game runs smooth as silk whenever it wants to but when you traverse then stutter + stutter and some more stutter.
Because my GPU wastes way too much power for nothing. Lots of GPU and CPU cycles are wasted for nothing.
That's the question, what's taking so long for the optimisation patches, not even the best GPU's and CPU's out there can play this without the stuttering issues.
I hope something comes out soon before we all move on from this game.
The original 2006 Oblivion was never fixed by Bethesda and required an unofficial patch by the fans.
This game is truly a Remaster because it preserved the bugs from the 2006 Oblivion.
It's been almost 20 years and I still haven't finished with the game and moved on
I am trying my best not to stop because I want to finish it once and probably touch it again after 10 years.
