Do shivering isles early.
If you go later game (24+) you get to enjoy Grummite Deathdealers and whatever the highest level tier of shamber is called, T-posing and not attacking.

Considering they are like 40% of the enemies you face, it really sucked and made me put down the game.

Might as well as use the console to put on godmode, since that is what it felt like.

Glad I wasn't the only one getting this. It was an easy way to get melee skills maxed out at least. A combination of a broken Shambles, Master Difficulty, and (very fitting) The Wabbajack (to restore their hp).

It was so upsetting because I was stoked to enjoy the remastered shivering isles but it just killed my enjoyment so I am putting the game down. When it gets patched or a mod fixes it I will pick it back up. I have put 60+ hours into the game so I think it's a good point to put it down.

Also LMAO at 60+ hours and I did not do the main campaign yet >_>
I will say I was able to get them to un-break their AI with some spells but it's not consistent. Melee seems to ensure that they will never stop T-posing.
You can quicksave and quickload and it stops the T-posing.

Uh oh. I'm level 35, and I dont even know how to start SI yet. So I guess I'm stuck with the broken enemies. XD

Issue with that is, that it is pretty much an ironclad rule to never save (and) or load while in combat in a bethesda game as it will guarantee to break stuff.

Quicksave anywhere on the island i.e. before combat or just as you enter the island. I had a few bad saves but that's no major problem. In these games regular saving is essential- and in fallout
