is your bios updated? are your drivers updated? if you're on 13th or 14th gen intel cpu there's a microcode bios update which could be the fix for this
It is not recommended to touch bios unless bios is bugged, because bios update can add more problems. Makes more sense to patch game.
If I can run this game on a 2060...
What you describe OP, is a hint that your system may not be stable.
Got an RTX 4070 Super driver version 572.70 and have not updated since I've heard bad things for Remastered.
I do have crashes, mostly at the start of a session if I transition from indoors to outdoors.
My point being: did you recently upgrade? Can you play other games with no crashes right now?
