Why Sheogorath?
Why did they change Sheogorath so drastically? Once, he was a thin old man with majestic silver hair and long, white beard. Now, he is a pudgy middle-aged with stubble.
Did they just think: "It's a Scottish voice actor, so we gotta make him Scottish"?

bruh fr i been wonderin the SAME THING like wtf happened to regal wizard sheogorath the ancient chaos pope who looked like he was one bad thought away from vaporizing your brain w/ a cheese fork spell now he built like a medieval pub owner who tells questionable stories and throws cabbages at birds 💀 like one second he’s all “i am madness incarnate, fear me” and the next he’s like “HAH HAHA LADDIE WANT SOME CHEESE AND A DAGGER TO THE KNEE?” and ur just standin there in your daedric boots like sir... what?

honestly yeah they prob took one look at the scottish voice lines and went “yup. kilt energy. redesign him to look like a man who once fought a goat in a bar fight and lost but still tells the story proudly” like i get it, he’s funnier now, more personality, more chaotic neutral gremlin dad vibes, but still. OG sheo looked like he’d speak in riddles and then turn your knees into snakes. New Sheo looks like he steals your sweetroll and teaches a philosophy class about it. we went from eldritch madness elder to rowdy uncle with god powers. it’s still kinda iconic, but like. also cursed. hawk tuah on consistency, i guess.

What are you referring to, majestic wizard? He went from having orange hair in daggerfall, to having grey hair. He always had an hibernian theme.

And yet the voice sounds Scottish instead of Irish. Couldn't they have found a drunken Irish coal miner to voice the role?
He is a Daedra. He can take many different forms.

Wait until he heard of the Skooma cat.

Which town is he in? I haven't encountered him yet.

IT's Sheogorath but he take a cat from when messing with the Khajiit folk.

I still think og Sheo looks better; his outfit is louder and I'm a fan of his beard in that game. But remake is still leagues better than what was going on in Skyrim/ESO

Should look into the Khajiit's pantheon, as most are just Aedra and Daedra as cats like Sanguine being the Blood Cat. So, it's safe to assume they all have some cat form when summoned in Elsweyr.

What's jarring to me is the flatness of his expression in the remaster compared to the voice lines themselves. Paradoxically with the older graphics it felt more believable because of the dated engine and overall feel.

SPOILERS

his outfit at the end is no longer a dress for the female, and is the same costume, kinda sad for me...

LMAO at the pose in the image on that page.

On one hand, that makes sense. A unique outfit that's a suit on a male character shouldn't magically become a dress on a female character (Benny's outfit does the same thing in Fallout: New Vegas). On the other hand, this is an outfit belonging to a Daedric prince.
Sheogorath can look like anyone.. he can change his appearance at will, he's crazy powerful and just plain Crazy.

You know, despite this being true about daedra in general, Sheo is one of the most consistent with his appearance throughout the games. Even having the freedom of being the player in Oblivion, he still chooses the form of a vaguely Imperial man in a formal suit, sometimes with a cane (the most inconsistent thing about his design, really). And even said suit is specifically red and violet throughout the games (even as a cat), save for Daggerfall.
