No patches coming especially not for performance
looks like its the sh*t end of the stick for us 99%ers of the customer base (those who arent running 3090s/4090s/5090s w/ a E-Zo infused FTL Drive) i just hear Todd now "the game is optimised. you may have to upgrade your pc again for the 5th time this decade. they dont understand the things i say on twitter"

correct, todd says game is perfect and has 16 times the perfection

It's ridiculous. We should be able to run the game on medium/low at least with a 3070ti without constant stutters or 20fps. The game is only "optimised" to squeeze every cent out of us.

Todd is always right and use his power to corrupt your game if you bad mouth him, That why you have bad performance.

I'm running it fine on ultra settings 50 - 80 fps outside. I am using FSR but can get 35 - 45 fps outside side without. Im certainly not playing on low or with 20 Fps. What's the rest of your system like?

I have a 3060 12Gb. 32Gb system RAM and an i7 10700.

i just upgraded to a 5070 and i'm playing on high to be safe and besides the dips in fps when you hit a loading zone it runs great.

thats great. when you get to the 70ish hour mark let me know how many times the game has crashed

I bet preformance is great when you boot the game to the main menu then Alt Tab to the discussions. easy to get thoes steam hours too.

I'm on a 4090 with a steady 120ish FPS outdoors and no stutters. I don't have a particularly exceptional rig, but the game is in fact working quite well.

you realize, you guys with issues are LESS than 1% of the playerbase do you? 6 million of copies sold, over 2.5 millions on Steam, less than 1000 people complaining about issues.
Math is not an opinion.

I have over 80 hours completed all main quests and Shivering Isles with like 3-4 crashes. I have an RX6600 8GB.

Game is not perfectly optimized for sure but i think the main issue is people being clueless about what settings to run at. Unless you have 12GB+ of vram you shouldn't be on anything other than low-medium. ESPECIALLY textures even at medium it pokes the 8GB limit.

The big indicator of hitting the vram limit is constant stuttering followed by crashes.

thats funny because Digital Foundry has already made 3 videos about this with 100s of comments. I know your just trolling because all you have to do is search "Crash" on these forums and theirs 1000s of threads talking about the same thing.

no sh*t its working well, youre on a 4090. I would hope so. thats literally what i said in my OP, bet u didnt read it.

It runs well for me now, but it was a little stuttery before upgrading. I've done a lot of testing and tweaking and some changing of hardware to get it running nicely.

The game is super sensitive to CPU bottlenecking.

Man, put down the energy drink, you're all hopped up. Not all games work well "out of the box," even on a 4090. Most of the time even with a 4090 I have to do a good amount of tweaking to get smooth gameplay (Dragon's Dogma 2, Elden Ring, New World, and a few others I play). Just posting here for INFO purposes that on my 4090 seems to work good. Take a nap dude, you're grumpy.
