Items marked as quest items issue
so ive got some items marked as quest items and i cant remove them from my inventory the ring of the viper and all of the bruma house furnishings are all stuck in my inventory. Anyone else having this problem?

Yup, that's how Oblivion was, especially if you're a completionist you'll rack up some items you'll never be able to remove from your inventory. The good news is quest items have no weight despite saying so in their description.

Yes. If you want to remove them from your inventory the only way to do that is to use a mod that lets you remove the 'quest item' tag from these items first.
Yup, OG bug. You can also use this permanent quest item status to your advantage, well at least you could in the original, haven't tried it yet myself but many of these items could be exploited to trigger the permanent quest item enchantment glitch allowing you to permanently reap the benefits of them without having to wear them (Ring of Vipereye was one such item that was extremely useful for this having a purely positive effect).

I've noticed this with my current game. It will neither let me equip or get rid of the ring of Vipereye, but my toon is experiencing the buffs from the ring. I'm still able to equip any other two rings from my inventory.
