Stutters after chipset and driver update
So I downloaded a driver updated, enabled radeon anti lag and updated my chipset. game went from running alright on medium settings fsr and frame gen enabled to stuttering constantly. i disabled antilag, that didnt fix it. reverted back to a previous graphics driver and that didnt fix it. replaced the engine tweak ini with the old config and that also didnt fix it. anyone have any ideas? really dont wanna throw 20 hours of playtime down the drain

Try force the game to recompile shaders.
go to
Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames
Move the Save_Settings.sav file out of the folder onto your desktop.
Start Oblivion Remastered, recompile should start.
After recompile cancel the setup, accept TOS, then quit game.
Move the Save_Settings.sav file from destop back into the mentioned folder replacing the newly generated. Start the game.

One thing you can check is look at your Device Manager / sound, video, and game devices, if you have two of them, and one being AMD High Definition Audio Device, I recommend disabling the AMD one and leave the other sound device active. This did cause problems for me in the past.

Delete the shadercache and rebuild it.
