Game Crashing during The Ultimate Heist Quest

Did anyone else's game crash during the Ultimate Heist Quest (specifically during the Arrow Extrication step)? Before this quest, I logged in about 50 hours in the game with only minor issues; however, during this step, my game would crash every minute. I had to quick-save my game every 30 seconds for anything to count and make progress. The only thing that resolved the issue was to kill the two Ancient Guardians; I wonder if they are bugged for whatever reason.
