Game Crashes On Every Save Attempt
I'm 106 hours into the game and started suffering constant crashing every time an autosave event triggers or if I manually save the game.

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000074

I have the achievement enabler mod installed and have had it installed since about 80-ish hours due to having to use a console command to progress a bugged quest. I have not had any issues since until now.

There are other threads on Steam and Reddit discussing this, but none of them seem to have any fixes as to why the game crashes when saving. Is anyone else having issues with saving? All of the save folders/files are in the correct locations and have not been tampered with.

EDIT: Everything loads and runs fine, and saving on a different character works fine as well. Someone pointed out that it is an issue with Unreal and Oblivion's scripts not properly working with system memory. It is something that will need a patch to correct. The only thing I can do now is wait for them to patch it, or load a previous save that was 11.5 hours behind...

Try running the game as an admin. Try turning off XMP.

Just tried that and it didn't work, unfortunately. I'll keep troubleshooting though.
Check out this mod man. I got rock solid 60fps and zero crashing since: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/2637?tab=posts&BH=1

Ah, it's for AMD. I'm running Nvidia so I do not think it will work. I'll keep looking, but I think you lead me down the right path because I'm starting to see things that might actually work, thanks.
It probably means your location is read only and can't be written to * and the game's developers didn't put an exception handler so you get Windows crashing the game for you?

Windows 10 users, try to see if update KB5055612 is available.

I had the same problem as you, but after installing this update that came out this week and improved the crash issue (although I had 1 in 9 hours of play). And the next day, I played for 4 hours without any problems!
