Open world fps drops are actually so bad

I have high fps over 100 but when you're out in the open world my fps is all over the place sometimes dropping as low as 40-50.. I honestly hate Unreal Engine 5 this mess is the future of the gaming industry and it doesn't even work correctly.

from what I can gather from other posts stating basically the same thing, as well as discussions with people I know that use UE5. is that it's mostly a matter of them not doing the proper work to optimize it and I hope that it's something that they can fix in a patch. I've heard there's some mods for it that MIGHT help but honestly it's not a good feeling to play a game that's so inconsistent on frames.
