It's called a chamberpot, or bucket.
The mages guild actually handles this magically and uses it to fertilize their alchemy plants

The characters in Oblivion are like women, they do not poop.
They just go to the nearest Oblivion gate to do their business. Shortly after this practice started, coincidentally, is when the invasion started...
Gene Roddenberry likely knows the answer to this question.
"You see that bucket over there? that's the toilet... just warn the folk down below before emptying it out the window"... good old medieval "toilets"...

Really makes you feel bad for all the buckets on peoples heads we did in Skyrim.

In days of old
when knights were bold
and toilets were not yet invented

They dropped their load
on the side of the road
and left feeling contented

yyyyup xD tho, if they don'T want their ♥♥♥♥-buckets put over their heads, they should get at it and invent plumbing and so on already xD at least the buckets would be clean then...

theyre not of importance, oblivion is only made of things that hold interest to your character, with towns only being real in the immediate backdrop of talking to people, hope this helps

There has never been a toilet depicted in any Star Trek series, either. It was such an obvious oversight that in a BTS FOR TNG Frakes pointed to a random rubber ducky symbol on a map of the ship and said it was the only working bathroom on the ship. My point it it was and still is EXTREMELY common to be skipped because it is rarely of quest/narrative significance. Plus no one wants to sit there watching their character drop a duce in some random ruin.
