Oblivion Remastered is better than the original
Why you ask?

Because in this remastered, you can consume 22 bottles of skooma whereas in the original the limit was 8. You can literally become SPEED and out run your frame rate.

There's several reasons, but being a skooma junky is definitely at the top of the list.
SO just fix the UE5 Crash errors and game will be better

Whatever but I can safely say that Oblivion remastered is one very good game and worth every penny. It's not every day I can get so immersed in a video game.

Yeah, that's a given. Skooma too hard, crash. Create potions too fast, crash. Repair too quick, crash. Paralyze an enemy too much, yep that's a crash.

Yep, it's reliving our first steps in to the world of Oblivion but upgraded. It's so much better.
Original and remaster are both in my heart.
The original is a certified classic and the last good game Bethesda made.

Remaster is an improvement overall, so yes.
Well it’s was more hardcore at 2006 unlike now where they made it easier.

No it wasn't LOL.

Please explain how 'they' made it 'easier'. 1000 word essay, please. Citations included. Point, quotation, comment. Academic, or it didn't happen.

Many thanks.

Classical example would be the Skooma limit which the OP talked about, it’s now unrestricted while it was 8 at 2006. So yes they made it easier for the current generation.
What's so good about Skooma? It comes with addiction. I never used it. Same reason I rarely used chems in F3 or NV (which I had fun with, completing on hardcore/survival mode).

Good game, despite it's flaws. It's got me, after 80 hours, itching to play more Bethesda games.

Gave Starfield another try, cuz I really do want to love that game. It's still ♥♥♥♥, in spite of it's strengths. Fired up Skyrim and gave myself a raging migraine getting my mod list working, but then had some fun but kept thinking of mechanics I liked in Oblivion.

When six hits the light of day, let's hope they learned from Starfield what NOT to do and manage to blend the best of Skyrim into oblivion. And bring back acrobatics and athletics. My Skyrim dude feels like he is walking through molasses.

Disabled up-scaling completely. The game instantly stops having a stroke and dying every 20 mins to completely rock solid stable, but with crappy performance on the overland.

It's not unrestricted, its capped at 22 now.
