Well it has been out since 2023 about time it got another patch I guess. Not really interested in Starfield.

Of course that was produced by BGS rather than a third party so any patch would be produced by completely different people anyway.

Honestly it doesn't make me feel anything. I'm one of those people playing the game quiet happily, it's stable for me and the performance is adequate.

From what I've seen looking at their patch notes most the patches for Starfield are nothing burgers, with big gaps between them.

Yeah, no updates since November, one tweet in march saying "exciting things coming!"

Turns out the exciting thing was Oblivion and this nothingburger patch.

Yes when they tweeted about "exciting things coming" to the Starfield guys I expected they'd get a few minor bug fixes and tweaks and that is what they got.

If you pop over to the Starfield forum though you'll find them praising what a major patch it is :-)

I think this is a good sign for Oblivion tho, probably means a patch is on the way. They just didnt want the StarFailed fans going nuts that Oblivion got an update before they did.

So they tossed them a nothingburger to buy more time.

I don't think Bethesda are the one's working on patches. Fairly sure it's Virtuso or whatever they're called.
