Finally solved the crashing on 7900 XTX
Update to the latest driver: 25.4.1

^^ Don't worry it only deletes your settings and you need to setup then again when starting the game, your saves will be there.

Also do not use hardware lumen or frame generation. While they perform fantastic on high end radeon, they still occasionally make the game crash. You can use them but game will not be crash free. First two steps should make them less frequent though. That been said without lumen and frame gen I've encountered zero crashes so far.

My games seem fixed after i used this old trick for U5. I just added this line command in the steam options of the game
-USEALLAVAILABLECORES
with this i got 0 CTD or crash
Also, when i played ST:E that moved from a stable engine to U5, we used this line that helped the few player online to get a stable game
-d3d11 -forceRHIBypass -NoRHIThread

DtHouse, hi!

These settings can reduce crashes in unstable fan-made or unofficial remasters, especially if they are poorly compiled or use UE5 without proper optimization.

However, they are not a universal solution, and using these flags may degrade performance or cause other side effects.

Let me know if you need an explanation.

my game is all but crash free, using latest AMD optional drivers with Lumen enabled on medium.

i9-9820x ht off @ 4.6ghz, Asrock Taichi RX7900XtX OC. 1080p@360hz 120 fps capped. All settings on ultra

Total Run Time: 119 hours
Average FPS: 81.2 after 4 hours. Low:49 High:120(capped)

I've had to submit 2 crash reports to Bethesda in that time. Not perfect, but better than any other new release in the past year for sure.

Stalker 2 for example. After sending them 10 crash reports in the first 24 hours of playing, I started to save them in a folder and offered to sell them for 1$ each to GSC. I like to be paid for alpha testing products.

It's very important as you mentioned to re-compile shaders after you upgrade your graphics drivers.

Did you delete the file I stated so shaders could recompile. I also said don't use hardware lumen or framegen.

Shaders being messed up makes the GPU datadump crash.
Lumen and framegen make the FSR crash.

Hope this helps.

Lumen does not make it crash. Also, reading is important.
