Killing Agronak in the arena no longer murder.
After completing "Origins of the Gray Prince," the proud reigning Grand Champion will as much as ask you to put a grand end to his life, not wanting to live with the shame of being half vampire. In the original Oblivion, this "mercy killing" counted as murder, registering as such in your character details page and, if it was your first, drawing the attention of the Dark Brotherhood... This is no longer the case in the remaster.

On the one hand, I get it. He literally asks for it. So, actually, it's perfectly consensual homicide, thank you very much! On the other hand, I miss this quirk dearly. The publicity and murky ethics of the event makes it make a lot of sense as your introduction to the DB. It's how I'd often role-play it! Plus it IS plainly just wrong to slay this noble dude offering no resistance or threat. Todd Howard just rejects the sanctity of life, I guess.

Your thoughts? Suggestions for who I can murder instead?

im also fairly certain the boots of springheel left your inventory in the original after the guild is completed...

You can actually talk to him while in the arena during the fight, it sets the stage for what is essentially a mercy killing, though really letting yourself die due to your heritage being what you consider 'tainted' is pretty weak mentally. Just a reinforcement of the whole sins of the father mentality, which is lame. Can't stand on your own because ...daddy? Please.

it makes sense, like it realy is not murder if someone asks for it, alsol they removed floating paint brush
The adoring fan is essential and also counts for murder, despite being unconscious.

*Edit* I lied a little, he is not essential but he does respawn after 3 days. I just put him in that little imperial waterfront shack and he can live there for eternity, being murdered and tortured.

In the original Springheel's boots break (disappear) if/when you use them to survive dropping down the middle of White-Gold Tower during the heist. I guess enough people were tough enough and wanted to keep them that it's like why not.

I get bored of The Arena pretty quick and don't want to complete it just for a safe way to do assassiny things. If I wanna at least rush the Shrouded Set for an early 50-point boost, my targets are generally people in the Abandoned Shack next to the Thieves Guild meeting spot. They're easy to pick off and not relevant to any quest (that I'm aware of).

you could keep them in the original too, i still have my save with them.

you just need high enough agility to survive the base fall, (or just slide down the sides of the flume to slow yourself,) and to not equip the boots until the quest is over.

during the quest after you fall down the flume, the boots have a hidden variable active during the quest that tell them to destroy themselves if you land from a fall with them equipped, so at any moment after surviving the fall until you complete the quest if you equip them and jump, they would be destroyed when you landed.

this works the same way in this game, was the first thing i wanted to test so i blazed through the guild.

although i had to push my character to the side of the flume when falling to survive cuz my acrobatics was low, when you do this you can land prematurely halfway down and then lessen the damage received.

Where does he respawn, the arena district? I'm actually protective and kind toward my fan, but if you always get another this might be worth trying. Just shut my eyes and trigger the quest line.

same place you originally find him the arena
It never was murder. All Arena combat is to the death. It is SANCTIONED killing.

No, they just got "destroyed" if you used them to reduce your fall damage when falling down back into the sewers at the last quest if the Thieves Guild.

I never used them for that, but rather leveled acrobatics and endurance (for higher health), so I can keep them forever.

+50 Acrobatics is a nice bonus and also works above 100.
