Ultimate heist quest broken

I sit in the chair waiting for the scroll, monk walks up then combat music starts playing nothing happens. Cant open menus or anything forced to shut game? Also playing as a vampire if this has anything to do with it?

As I find it often hard to get up from a stool either.
I've pressed multiple action buttons to get up again. Still don't know which the actual button is. oO

I find that if I hit E (or what ever key you have to interact with objects) that I will stand up from anything I am sitting on. I have had issues where I get stuck in object like tables so I always try to make sure the seat has nothing around it. I have vague memories of the quest from OG but I haven't done it in the remastered yet so I am not sure what is around the mentioned chair.

I read other forums i think if theres a monk sitting on the bench behind you it alerts and triggers the fail quest as your locked in the seat you have to prob load a save at a time where he doesnt sit down there

still fails for me with or without him. sitting monk goes to bed around 9 pm if anyone needs to know
