Fix the HUD please or add a Legacy mode?

The iconic half circle Oblivion marker which appears above enemies and drains symmetrically from either end remains the most satisfying health bar i’ve ever come across and is one of my favourite things about Oblivion!
Removing this feature in favour of adding more ‘Skyrim’ makes no sense, except if the goal is to remake the game instead of remastering it. If you insist on making players wear Skyrim goggles when playing Oblivion, then at least give us a legacy mode where we can choose to have the iconic look back.

Yeah, the Skyrim-ification of the game in the remaster is easily the worst component of this release, also at the level of mechanics. I just praise the Nine that they didn't include a kill cam, too... A legacy option would have been optimal.

Isn't there already an original UI mod on Nexus, I thought I'd heard there was. Since obviously they aren't going to change the UI back that might be a solution for you guys.

Personally it's been too long since I played the original to remember what the UI looked like.

The remaster is fantastic but it does feel like a heavily modded Skyrim, with a lot of ‘Oblivion’ lost along the way.

No there is not, I check there regularly. Have a look at some combat gameplay from the original, it’s totally unique to every other game’s health bar except perhaps the old Diablo’s, they were really cool too.

I'm confused. Why not just play the original version if you don't like the changes in the remaster?
