Does end-game come too quickly?
I feel like I'm blazing through the mobs on this game - in that I'm level 20 and only done basically the Dark Brotherhood questline and done some dungeon delving. I didn't even finish the arena. I don't remember hitting these mobs so early in the original, and I think it has to do with the new leveling system.

Anyone else having this issue? I just feel like I'm rushing to end game and got full ebony armor before I even really started... now i'm worried these are the mobs I'm going to face for the 75% rest of the game.

Turn up the difficulty

There's also one more class of gear you haven't gotten...Close some oblivion gates..get some sigils get OP then ramp up the difficulty. Also, make sure you hit up the shivering isles.

Just leave the main quest for when you are done.

I mean I know there's Daedric armor (which personally I think the daedric stuff is butt ugly) and the Knights of the Nine armor but it just feels like Ebony was always the peak of atainment to me in the previous games and now I got it so... quickly. It feels like there's not much to really get now that's not unique gear.

Stack Sigils....TBF being level 20 after one guild is out of the ordinary...I've been hitting up sides and I'm 17 after 2 guilds...
As I recall, people have commented that progression is faster in Remastered than in the original. I can't say for myself since I have not played the original since 2010.
You're level 20 after 46 hours...I don't think that is what i'd consider "quick"
This game doesnt really have any endgame. The journey is the destination. Its a legit RPG.

Where did the OP say 46 hours?

You can see his playtime and achievements bub
Depends on which race and character class you chose. I chose a race (wood elf) which was a poor match for the Witchhunter class I chose. I'm level 20 and I've done Mage Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieves Guild. I wouldn't even be level 20 if I hadn't forced leveling to 10 so I could get the Skeleton Key. I basically went from level 10 to 20 through doing those three guilds.

Technically the progression is as fast as you want it to be, you don't need to sleep except two times in the dark brotherhood quest, outside of that you have control of your destiny..

I've currently leveled to 15 and enjoying the pace.

I don't feel like the main quests are very long in ES games so I always kind of make things take longer to enjoy the ride.
Don't rush main quest, do guilds, daedric quest, some secondary quests in cities, DLC and then finish the main quest.

Interesting. I thought that would exclude pause time and time in the menu.

Tbf, you can get ebony armor at very low level if you play as an argonian. Can cheese umbra with the poison room. Additionally, Umbra is always at its max level, so it's a way to have a level 25-30 weapon that hits as hard as a daedric warhammer early on lmao. It's also why I never give umbra to clavicus; the masque is both butt-ugly and horrifically bad compared to the sword, particularly if you never turn in the quest because it then counts as a weightless quest item that can't be removed from your inventory.
